Side plates also ean function as a heat jacket. Adjustable viscosity allows for better pump efficiency, and operational flexibility. In a PLC controlled application a thermal sensor can also be installed to ensure completely stable viscosity levels.<\/p>\n

In a continuous operation, as the gears unmesh at the pump’s inlet, a partial vacuum is created, drawing fluid into the pump. The fluid is then
\ntrapped in the spaces between the teeth of the gears and the casing, and is carried around the casing from the inlet to the outlet. As the gears
\nmesh again at the outlet, the fluid is forced out of the pump under pressure.
